What the fuck. It seems like for the past 3 months ive been getting these every 30 seconds when I turn my private chat to ON. Sometimes my screen even gets spammed by 5 accounts at once. This is ridiculous. Reporting doesnt do anything--only seems to attract more to me.


First of all, and the main question is how do they get my RSN? I have been staying away from the GE and I definitely dont advertise my RSN on Sythe. Second, how do you even understand that shit they are typing??? Im quite capable of buying my gold from people off Sythe, and not one of these random Chinese companies.

 

Turn it to friends.

 

Thats what i always asked my self "how do they get my RSN" but what i do now is just simply turn off my chat to frends only and put them in ignore list / report them for advertising and hope one day to get RS Mod in game

Happens to me as well. This can be quite annoying if you're trying to sell something and need to leave private chat turned on. They could have an account that's logged into the same world as you and sends crap to random users they see in game (using their other accounts). If you post on the official RS forums, they could get it from that too. Don't worry about it.

 

Nothing you can do aside from report + ignore. You could always turn your private chat to friends for a bit if you don't have people needing to contact you off your friend list.

 

I think they get your RSN by randomly adding people in the GE, and then if it's successful your name goes on a list that gets added to each new account.

 

Yeah it's gets very annoying i keep my priv on friends
