07Scape... Shit

I'm registered and everything but i think im going to wait until the economy is a bit more settled.

 

The ones that quit, give up or are waiting for the economy to be stable, are unaware of the tricks of getting up so fast without having to grind. Quests, and the right methods of making GP.

I myself was thinking of quitting, or at least waiting. Luckily I found both a way to make GP and train stats quick.

 

Lazy is lazy.

I'm 22 and I was so excited when it was released. Everyone has a fresh start, so suck it up, train a week, do some quests, and you're on your way.

You must not have ever loved the game for what it actually was. I would bot my combat honestly, but I never botted RuneScape untill they started fucking it up really bad.

Yeh fresh start etc etc is fun but boreing as hell

Only doing it to just do a bit of business and make some RSGP for EoC RS! i like that better! more things to do, better things to do. just more interesting.
The sentimental value of playing 07 rs disappeared after the first few hours!

Exactly! I'm too only here for the money. 10k is going for a couple dollars and I'm already making around 100k a hour. The game is just so profitable at the moment. I really do like 07scape - mainly due to the fact that it is very profitable.

 

The nostalgia is only one aspect of the game. I think most people are playing it for the non-EOC combat (although personally, I would have preferred a 2012 backup of the game just before EOC was implemented), a brand new character, a brand new economy, a new community that all holds something in common, and a brand new adventure.

You have a point about the repetitive, endless killing of chickens and cows in Lumbridge, but that will only last so long. People are already advancing their characters extremely quickly, and I suspect it will only be a couple of months before the servers are flooded with Barrows, Whips, Dragon items, and the wilderness is packed with skilled PKers and players are achieving 99s.
