07Scape... Shit

maybe that's the reaon we want to play? killing chickens over and over? catching trouts and sardines? it's how runescape used to be, and we like it.

 

I think once, the economy gets going and the bots get released people will like it.

 

Do quests waterfall bumped me up to 30

 

I'm neutral, so I'm hopping between the two versions still. Probably gonna try and match stat goals on both, that'd be a good challenge.

 

I personally like it.. I am alright with EOC even though I don't like most of what goes on in it.
I've been working on my main in EOC, and my noob in 07 at the same time, afking on one or the other.

 

Because for one I've missed the community of back then, I was so done with the community on EoCScape, where kids just wanted to brag and act e-cool. Now, rs2007 has restored what I missed, everyone coming together and actually working for what they have. I prefer DIY style training anyway.

 

I love how most of the people that say that 07 scape sucks it's because they think it's too hard for them.

 

After finally giving in I have to change my perspective on things. Playing '07 is just so satisfying. Really.

 

Ofcourse we don't fucking like to kill chickens.. It's just part of it. To level up can be boring sometimes, but when you finally get a good account, it's a lot more fun. I'm basically playing 07 scape to pk, but I'm infact also enjoying to train my account.

 

Chichens are 15 exp each

 

Personally, 07 was the only year that I truly played. Since 2008 to present, all I've done is bot and RWT accounts/gold. I've been playing quite a bit since it's been released and I'm loving it. It really comes down to the fact that everyone's calling it "shit" because they're too lazy to put in the time to it again. I understand we all have different priorities now, but it's a bit unfair to say it's bad when you're the one not putting in the effort to get to where it's good.

Tl;dr I'm loving it and I'll keep playing it. 07 > EoC.

 

If it was possible, I'd take a huge shit on EOC. 07 is a better game by far.

Jagex: Take note. Your best update in 5 years is removing the rest of them.

 

I trained countless accounts in RSC and 'early' RS2 via chickens, cows, men, barbarians, etc. etc.

For that lower level gameplay, or simply from a melee training standpoint, I really wouldn't mind 07scape.

It's more for the end game that I would miss additional content - Summoning, Curses, Overloads/Extremes, GWD, and of course the weapons/armour that came with those updates.

I can do without anything that was introduced in the last 2-3 years (I quit RS about a year and 4 months ago, after playing since 2001), but after playing with the convenience of several 'post 07scape' updates, it would be hard for a higher level player to go back.

 

The whole "waiting for bots" argument simply shows why these people can't enjoy the game... They quite simply can't do anything themselves..

Kids nowadays just expect to have everything spoon fed to them.

Ahaha, man, if RS07 is too hard for you go back to your Evolution of Shit updates. When you bot on RS07 I really do hope your entire account gets banned as a result. I can't wait for people like you to complain on forums when you PK that you don't have powerful enough weapons and playing actually takes some skill now - that's when you'll be put in your place. Enjoying losing bank later on. QQ more, I'll be waiting to report you for botting

 

I love it, I don't play for the nostalgia. But I play for the reason that these times were great times to play in as they offered perfect combat, and no dumb updates.

 

Chill..Anyways I logged on to rs07..didn't even finish training area. Mind you I play GW2 now but I just wanted to feel that sensation I used to have for the game. It's long gone. IMO the guys I see who work at classic video game stores will love this game. As for me..Graphics suck, too slow paced, and the friends with whom I shared the memories with are long gone. If you enjoy it then awesome. If you don't I highly recommend Guild Wars 2..Best game I have ever played.
