07 / EOC botting

Okay, so i have an ex completionist account on rs3 (67 divination earlier)

this account was very lightly botted (seriously, fuck livid)

I want to bot a seperate account for 07, 1 in all stats eoc and 07 - but if it gets caught and banned, is it likely my comp acc will be investigated and banned? just dont want to have my comp banned.

 

Yeah usually bans are chained now. Best to keep your account safe by botting any other accounts on a separate IP address.

 

Yeah you've got to make a new account, don't use the same one.

From my experience, as Yo said, the bans appear to be linked together so I wouldn't risk it unless you can use a different IP or VPN or whatever.

 

I wouldn't risk it because it is now fact that Jagex doesn't investigate all accounts on your ip; if they know one is botting they may just ban them all regardless.

If you want to bot on 07 I suggest using a different ip.

So I thought I could test the whole different IP theory..

Tried botting on a fresh-unbotted account at my GF's house, so yeah different IP, never even played RS at GF's house before. Around 8hrs post-botting, got the perm Hope that clarifies things.
Perhaps just got unlucky.

Just because you got banned after X hours on a different IP doesn't really show anything.
The point of proxies/different IPs is to prevent chain bans on multiple accounts at once. Not prevent bans all together , that would be magic!

Even if you make a new account, you should use a vpn so it wont be traced back to your main

 

Use a VPN. (Virtual Private Network) Hides your IP

 

Jagex would not ban your main just because another account on the same ip was botting. I got banned on 7 of my accounts that I was botting with the speed too high but my other accounts are not banned.
