Perhaps try the 'current' line in a lighter shade, or maybe even white? Reuse of the colours used on the volume slider would probably work for that reasonably well!

Nice choice of colour, all very appropriate for context and definitely help with readability. I'm a big fan of the top gradient especially. Does the line represent the waveform of the playing track/current duration? If so, how does the user scrub through the track? Other than the duration below...
