The guide he made is plausible but may be a little difficult for people outside the US.

What he says about how he got the keys is true. IT and CS students can get couple of free keys of Windows 7/Vista/XP from the MSDNAA site (if the school is registered).

Thats because we both got scammed for 2 dollars each ? Basically he got me to pay 5 dollars upfront, he pasted me a random 17 digit key (MW2 keys are 25 digits) which obviously didnt work. Refunded me 3 dollars then went "oh i have to go to work". I will post details in the scamming section...
