Control mage and priest are easily the best, but I've been playing spell power rogue and late game druid. I don't like warlock much personally because the current metagame has significant placement on aoe removal, exactly what kills warlocks.

I've personally gotten to masters 2 with only dropping an initial $10 on packs. That being said, I watched a shit ton of streams and got pretty good at the game, so I've earned a lot of free packs in arena. It's definitely possible to not pay at all if you're decent at arena, if you can...
