Limewire connection problems

Hey, so basically, sometimes limewire gets to turbo charged connection in as little as a minute, and sometimes it just doesn't connect after 20-30 minutes. Usually when that happens, i just disconnect and then reconnect, but usually it doesnt work. I tried disabling my firewall and antivirus software and then connecting, but still no luck. Any chance someone has a knowledge of limewire and knows what to do here?

hahah..lucky you can get a connection at all sometimes.

last time i tried limewire..it kept crashing, and when it wasnt crashing it wouldnt connect..eh.

connection issues can be because you need to forward your ports in your router.(i tried this, didnt work for me, as it use to..maybe cox blocked it heh.)

 

i get the same problem, half the time it wont connect, but some times i havea turbo charged connection... bs sorry i cant help

 

Try reinstalling Limewire and/or the Java runtime (JRE package).

 

Alright, well i haven't gotten it connected in over a week, so i'm just gonna go with nullware and reinstall some things... Pretty irratating, and thanks for the helps guys.

 

yeah thts what happens. you can't fix it. i mostly get turbo in 30 sec all the time. maybe renew your internet connection?
