Not a good idea right now. There haven't been any game-changing updates in quite a while to make the rise in cost justifiable. Possibly if they do the wilderness update and it's good then it might be. p.s I also remember when membership was $5 USD a month, seems like forever ago.

On the PVP aspect, the wilderness has been quite dead for a while now so no one is dying out there and needing to replace gear. So, not much demand for gold.
