[Tut] Using flares without the Screen Blending Mode [Tut]

This is useful for Signatures and the like, where the screen layer mode forces you to add a background or face a large black background that can't be removed

Open your flare and switch to the Channels Window

Ctrl-Click the RGB channel

SWITCH BACK TO THE LAYERS PANEL

Without changing your selection, copy and paste the flare over - now it has no background at all and can be used in transparent signatures Resulting in:

as opposed to
A bit hard to explain, but extremely useful for C4D work
