Clicking your name to go to the prof?

How often do you have a reason to view your profile?
Or just think... "Why the hell not?"
Some nerds getting high on some drugs.. "YOLO". No you're dead.
Or just the average Sythers.

At the top right corner we can click on our name. Which leads to the user cp.
But if you angle your head left(ish) (other side of the screen)
A user CP button.

I am proposing that the right username should be a link to our own profiles.

Don't really see much of a need for this since we can already click on our names on threads or our User CP(top left) to get to our profiles.

In all honesty, I rarely even pay attention to my name on the right side. About the only thing I use often there is the private message link, if I don't get the pop up right away for whatever reason.

 

It is nice for us profile viewers. And if not.
Then why have 2 user Cp's?

 

I regularly use/view my profile for various reasons, it's really not that much of a hassle with the way things are at the moment.

I have no clue why we have 'two User CPs'; I was just saying that I personally pay little attention to my name on the right side(which seems to be the spotlight of this suggestion), so I don't see a need for this. If people truely find it that inconvenient now, this would be helpful I guess.

I've never clicked on my name to get to user cp although it seems like a better idea having it link to profile instead of subed theads.

If this can be implemented easily, than why not.

She didn't approve nor disprove this suggestion, she simply said she's going to keep this thread open for Sythe/Matthew to see.

 

This is simply the case of changing a hyper link to lead to somewhere else. I hardly ever click that link, but there are others who most likely use it anyways. Support.

I'm a regular profile viewer, as I use my profile to get to my recent posts/threads rather than searching for them.

I cannot say that I haven't thought about this before.

Most forums have that, but I don't see the problem of clicking two times instead of one for going to a profile.

I support this, although I don't find it neccesary at all.

 

This suggestion may seem a bit silly or unnecessary, but I completely support this

I go to my profile often for many reasons, and I can't tell you how many times I repeatedly click the "Zerkerfist" button in the top right corner, completely forgetting every time that it does not lead to my actual profile

It just seems like something that makes sense and should be where that button leads.

 

Shouldn't take long to implement. I am pretty sure that was what the link was intended to do in the first place so you have my support.

 

I actually understand what your saying and it would make things a lot easier.

I remember doing this before, I did it more than once.

I guess I support this too, although I'm now used to going to User CP > My Profile.
