Hey everyone. First off, thanks for the great guide, as a noob to this kinda thing it's a great help. But I still have some questions.

1. This question is kind of :embar: embarrassing, but, I signed up for paypal earlier but I'm not sure I understand how it works. Do I just give someone my email address and the money will show up on my account when they pay? I didn't give paypal any of my credit card info.

2. How do you determine what's a fair price when you have a lot of games in your account? SteamCalculator says mine are worth over $600 (over 50 games). I don't expect to charge nearly that much, but I don't want to short myself either.

3. Out of curiosity, why are people interested in buying steam accounts with a low number of digits?

1. Yes, paypal works via email address. You pay and receive money to your "email address" versus your name. You may need to verify your account with a CC and a bank account depending on your needs.

2. It's whatever you feel like charging. Start at something you feel is fair, then lower it as time goes. It also depends on what circumstances you're dealing with.

3. I addressed this question. In short, it's simply a vanity thing.

 

Last question.

What exactly does a middleman do, and what kind of info will I have to give them? I'm pretty sure I'll want to use one to make sure things go smooth, but I want to be prepared so I don't annoy them with my noobishness.

I was considering making an in-depth guide to the MM process.

All you need to give the MM is what the other user wants.

When I MM a Steam trade, this is the process.
1. User 1 gives Steam info.
2. I describe the account to User 2
3. User 2 agrees with description.
4. User 2 pays User 1
5. User 1 verifies payment.
6. I give User 2 account information.
