    Real Hip Hop

Got a few songs and artists you should check out/ There songs are on fire and both are barely noticed in this mainstream bullshit. 2 of the few artists keeping hip hope alive.

    Lupe Fiasco Album "The cool"

    Hurt Me Soul- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X7Kvv9aT-8&feature=related

    Fighters- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL9acf561b8&feature=related

Nas Album "Untitled" (Album was suppose to be called "******")

America- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igUafi23qcs (verse 2-3 are crazy)

    Untitled- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_hQ40BqVY0

    Comparing Hip hop to rap

The Realest Killaz- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cq1X2e7g3U - The song starts at about 1:00. Actually pull out the lyrics and compare them, If you know anything about hip hop you can see a big difference.

Nas is well known to people that know about real hip hop but not to the people that live on Wayne's dick all day. But yea both Lupe's and Nas's CD's were good.

Tbh though, I only listen to hip-hop/rap because of the beats, not the rhymes. Their rhymes are generally shit compared to inner-city poetry anyways, and it doesn't really take much skill to put those rhymes to a shitty beat. I like Lil Wayne because his rhymes are retarded, but his beats are so good haha. I don't mind real rap though, I just don't prefer it to metal. Nas/Lupe are pretty good too, IMHO (which doesn't mean much).

Are you serious? How do you listen for the beats? You can make your own beats or listen to jazz for that.

Incase you guys didn't know what Hip Hop is:

"Hip Hop is more than music, Hip is the knowledge, Hop is the movemement"
    -KRS-One

Nas's new album is alright. I prefer illimatic. He's just one of the few holding down real hip hop right now

He raps about taking money up the butt. No Joke.
