[Spoilers] Game of Thrones - Season 8

I believe the giants name was Wun Wun and yeah that was brutal. Sadly I predicted he would die at the beginning and I was right ;(

Also funny to note how more people are sad about his death than Rickon xD

Lmfao, who doesn't loves Game of Thrones. One of the best series ever... hopefully John Snow doesn't dies again hehe!

 

So Dany's gonna take the iron throne blah blah blah, but now that Jon's the claimed king in the north, there's going to be some head butting when Dany asks him to bow. Might be a Torrhen Stark repeat potentially.

 

I guess the cast got a lot smaller for next season.

 

Absolutely loved this episode. In my opinion the best episode of the entire series let alone the best season finale. Perfectly paced, brilliant music, amazing ending arcs to every character, and outright brilliant. Couldn't have asked for a better way for this season to end. Looking forward to the last two seasons of the show!

 

What a fucking amazing episode. Music, production, transitions, and basically everything else was spot on. Here's waiting for another year now. RIP.

Cersie taking the throne like that, and the way Jamie looked, basically was the Mad King all over again.

 

What a bloody brilliant season finale. R+L=J THEORY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED.

Absolutely loved the shot transition from baby Jon in the Tower of Joy to adult Jon in the hall of Winterfell. Arya Stark starts striking the people off the list she has long been wanting to kill. Lady Mormont has been an effing legend, great speech or whatever you call it to back Jon Snow as the KITN.

One scene I especially enjoyed but felt rather curious was the scene when the Sept of Baelor blew up in wildfire. Kind of strange that Lancel Lannister would just crawl all the way in an attempt to reach the candles to prevent it from lighting the wildfire and then just staring at it..? Maybe it's just me. Anyway, there goes Margaery Tyrell.

All the build-up from the past 9 episodes was well worth it. Throughout the entire episode I felt chills go down my spine and fuck me, the music paired so well with the scenes. I'm already stoked for the next season.

 

Loved this episode was totally shocked by the number of people that died.... The way the Tommen died was insane. Really thought they did an excellent job on this season finale.

 

That episode was nuts. Best one in a while, maybe of the whole series. Not sure how I'm going to wait another year for a new episode.

 

I'm sharing the same feeling, I'll be dying to see what's next. Hands down best show out there.

 

Agree with all that was a sick episode, the directing the last 2 was unbelievably good, as well as the music production.
Did not expect Margaery to die like that, always thought Tommen would die stupidly and suicide was probably fitting.
I loved the transition between how Jon was named King with everyone supporting himvs Cersei forcing her way to the throne with everyone including Jamie disappointed.
Would love to see more Brann scenes (even if he is fucking up everything), sort of sad that we might not see Uncle Benjin as he can't get past the wall.
An unpopular opinion here but fuck Dany! I think it's fairly clear she will easily take back the Iron Islands but hoping she dies soon after that.
The child actor for Lady Mormont is a legend as well!


Can't wait for the next season. Will most definitely be worth the wait.

 

Winds of Winter is set to come out before 2017, so I'm gonna read that to tide me over

 

Epical episode. Still felt like a set up for next episode. The only things that finally came to fruition was Arya getting her wish and Cersei getting hers. That is big and the episode was amazing. But it is a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth that we didn't get just one full scale epic battle to hold us over to next year. I'll be dying waiting. Also the episode was pretty predictable, found myself calling pretty much everything that happened before it did. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but nothing was surprising in this episode.

All in all. My favorite episode so far. But I hope they finally give us the icing on the cake they've been building towards for years this next season.

 

Jon Targaryen is the King in the North and that's all that matters now.

 

Those last two episodes were fucking television gold.

In S7 I hope to see Littlefinger causing some real shit with Jon/Sansa but ultimately dying for it. Yara and Daenerys getting most of their fleet destroyed by Euron but dragons save the day (maybe Tyrion being revealed as Targ and wining his second war as a dragon rider).

Jon & Daenerys marry before Bran reveals they're actually.. Aunt and Nephew right? Which is fine I guess since Targs keep it in the family.

So stoked for S7 but sad about director choice.

 

Fucking spot on. Tbh tho Daenerys segment in the show is starting to piss me off tho. 2 mins of airtime where she rides her dragon or talks about how boss she is.

Arya also pisses me off dunno how she isn't dead. S7 is going to feature a lot about the battle between the iron islands and Daenerys "army".

Be good to see some white walker action as well... so fucking overdue.

I hope the remaining season(s) don't make the ending seem rushed. 6 seasons deep and it feels like there are more questions left unanswered then ever before.

 

We've got 13 episodes in total left. Apparently episodes will be longer however.

 

I take it all back. I want more episodes, even if they are filler-like. XD It'll be a cold and dark day after the last episode airs and we are GoT-less.
