Name changes?

I changed my rsn just now and I was wondering why cant we change the usernames on here to match our rsn's?

 

Because this isnt Runescape.

 

Because changing names in general can be exploited by scammers to hide and get away from their ban-able deeds.

Besides, why would you want them matching? As Alma said, this isn't RuneScape.

 

I don't know what it has been with this past month but the infatuation with people and the name change topic is rather irritating.

Sythe doesn't allow name changes for non-staff to reduce the confusion among members and the possibility of scamming. They will never let non members change their name for any reason, especially because you changed it on RuneScape.

 

Already in rules.
Only for staff who their username is deemed unprofessional or such.

 

If you would like to make a new file that's fine. But other than that there are no name changing options.

I think its because others see topics about "name changes" and the topic catches their attention

It's the one released when there was confusion regarding the issue when members like Wolfdog and Ricky got their name changed.

 

Closed we don't allow username changes mainly unless staff has a shortening.
