Lost some money recently.

Hey sythe, I was staking on a max main and lost quite a bit of money. 33.2 BTC to be exact. I ended up losing 12 stakes in a row (only winning 2 stakes in between versus friends who were selling me gp.)

Anyway, I logged in today and did 2.4B, won. I doubled up and did 4.8B and won.

Now I am only down 20-22 BTC and have decided to stop staking him. I figured I would share this with you, sythe users, because there are only 2 outcomes to every "challenge". You either win, or you learn. I learned that I shouldn't be so impatient. I am going to stop staking him, eating my ~12K loss. I will continue to stake in my favor though.

Damn that's a rough loss. Glad to see you've taken the loss as a point of learning, so that way you gain, in one way or another.

 

I lost about ~8b gp in game before spending any btc. I now have 10B in game but I'm down ~22K. So I'm -12K

 

Dang that sucks. One thing you should try is Odds staking. If you had a couple accounts going at once you could make good money through Xing people. Just an idea.

 

Damn man, those are some big losses. I just stake odds and usually split large pots with friends to sometimes cover up a large loss, which in turn results in a split reward as well.. but 33 BTC is a lot, haha.

That's pretty shitty, not everyone can be a winner though, wish you the best of luck with rebuilding reminds me of the time I lost like 17x in a row although I didn't lose nearly as much as you did.

 

Sorry for your loss dude, but I seriously question what you're doing staking that much in the first place. Gambling is suppose to be a thing you do for fun, and not something that can seriously ruin your bank account. $22k is no joke, you might have a gambling problem on your hands.

What is the difference between odds staking and staking?

 

You have the odds of winning the stake in your favour. Eg 52/48 there is a 52% chance that ull win. Believe that krab does a variety of things

 

oh okay, how do you find out if you have the odds? i presume one of those calculators people mention

 

Sounds unreal and cocky, but that was literally just my profits for this month

nope, 50/50 odds. I wouldn't stake an xer!
