Tip: Racist names are the best to get it changed faster.

Example: I used 'Muslimscum' - Got changed within 2 hours.

 

This still works. Just tried this with a rare name of mine and I was scared to risk it but I took that risk and it only took 20 minutes to get reset and now I have the name on my main!

I have a question. I bought a name and did exactly what you said to transfer. However, I was muted on forums as well as getting the account locked! I checked the name on hiscores and forums, it has been changed back to the original name. Will they change this name to numbers so I can use it or will it be the original name?

 

This method no longer works, they just change the name back to the rare name and lock your account.

At least for me it didn't. It just changed back to the original name and I had to wait once again 28 days to change it. Didn't get my account locked though. Man this is so hard some you guys make it look easy lol.

 

if you just go into the account hijacking thread and post that someone hacked you and changed your name to something offensive, it will get reset within an hour! I've tried this.

 

people looking at the forums will know what you are doing and steal your name.

true story.

 

If they are smart enough. Not everyone is out to steal your username.

i tried doing this, just got forum banned. then i went to mod chrisso's cc and said hey with the offensive name, got changed to numbers in one minute.
