Newegg is a company which sells computer parts/accessories/etc... And has better rep then bestbuy i'm sure. If you want a nice PC, go with one of the two above.

It is pretty good for Alienware. If you think you can take the time to build one yourself with parts from newegg you would be better off. If not and you do not want the hassle of it, that is not a bad buy.

Also, if you think you want to build one yourself, just post a budget and we can put together a good parts list for you.

There's no reason anyone shouldn't build their own, every single person that tries it and reads the manual finishes within 1-4 hours.. If you're just THAT lazy then buy prebuilts from newegg since bestbuy would be simply paying a 10-50% premium for absolutely nothing. Heck, you could get the alienware comp cheaper off alienware or dells site.. But alienware itself is paying like $400 premium for nothing. You could build a top of the line 2500, 2600, or 3770 with your budget.

You could build an epic PC for $900... way better then that crap alienware desktop you linked us too. You're paying like 30% more for an item simply because its from bestbuy.

Yeah, but from what I heard, if you build your own, there will be more problems with it and shit. I originally planned to build my own until I heard about it having more problems.

There are less problems, all the parts usually have over a 3-4 year warranty too. it's the best way to go.

As long as you take the time to do it right and buy the right parts you will be fine. Everyone is going to keep saying to build your own. If you do not want to though, go ahead and get that. Keep in mind though that you SHOULD build your own if you can.

Alright, say I want to build my own. What's the best gaming pc I can make with 800 bucks? And if you can put an HDMI port on it, that would be a plus.

Do you want to be able to bot with it too, or just the BEST for gaming? I'll make you a build. $800 exact, or $820, $850, $900, it all makes a difference for parts, also what size HDD do you want, and do you want an SSD, cd/dvd drive, bluray, soundcard (internal/external)? Do you need mouse/keyboard added on?

I'm a legit gamer, I don't bot. And I'm going to get a wireless mouse/keyboard so I'll just need extra USB ports. As for hard drive space, I shouldn't need more than 1TB. I want a cd/dvd drive, as for bluray, if that makes the budget over 800, then I don't need it, but if you can squeeze it in that works. And idk what a soundcard is?

I could probably got a little bit more than 800 bucks, it all depends. You see, I dropped out of high school twice and had some problems and I'm 20 years old and a senior, so my grandparents said if I finish school they'd give me 5 grand, but they have to sell one of their extra houses first so it depends if I get that money or not.
