As virtual items in PayPal are intangible and cannot be successfully claimed in most cases.

I think you should've bought an account from a well-known gold farmer's site instead of a random one.

 

Lol they tried to give u another account - would be advised as a good.

I called paypal the day after it happened he informed me it would be difficult for the seller to prove he deleviered and I successfully claimed the account. He also said that farmer100 has until the 10th to give evidence and paypal will come up with a decision.

And I'm not buying multiple accounts? I bought one off player auctions for under 500, and was going to give it to my girlfriend to play, and was looking for one more for me but never posted anything about buying one. Just sent messages to spyike and unb4nn3d about buying theirs.

If someone has a link to a post where I'm buying an account please link it as I don't believe that to be correct

 

well honestly I see no reason to buy a runescape account for 1 grand. Geez I wouldn't spend over $50 for an account. And why not buy it here? Account may be cheaper and sythe has the same amount of scammers as that website ;p

Wow, that really really annoys me how they lie about that at the end when you force them into a corner. Especially with that amount of money, its ridiculous. IF you loose the paypal dispute, contact your bank and say you had no control/ unauthorised access over your paypal details or something. I wish you the best of luck!

 

Ya but jesus 1000 dollars you could pay a couple months of bills with that or but it towards something better.

 

If paypal falls through I will contact the bank and see what my optins are. Seeing as 1000 is well worth a few phone calls?

I typically have pretty good luck with paypal claims, as I only claim when truly needed. Not to mention...Karma Will post update on the 10th

 

I just came upon this thread, and I have ordered from Farmer100 before sucesfully, but for gold farming only. However I did try to buy the 138 with the white phat, and they are very vague. They want me to pay with western union, and then i asked to see the acct before I pay, and they refused. I was only minutes from clicking the Send button.

 

I know you said you had money to spare but you might aswell have burned it in a pit of fire as you aren't likely to be getting anywhere if you're trying to buy an account will epic stats that they can't prove they have possession of(likely got recovered or they sold to someone else). They're practically telling you that you ain't getting shit and they can avoid any refund and by doing so get a free grand. It is beyond me why you bought from a completely dodgy and uncommon site when you could've bought from a reputable site like gold4rs for the same amount.

 

Should've waited 24 hours and then if they didn't refund, charge back.
Although it's intangible goods and the seller admitted to it in the paypal comments, you will probably get your money back with ease.

If you had that money to spare, I would've just bought from gold4rs or UsFine.

 

Both of those sites are just as bad, if not worse.


Gold4rs has a well-documented history of scamming high-end accounts from players, and Usfine is known for getting accounts banned. Your choice really.
