I think that there isn't a black phat. The reason is I never seen one in Runescape and never seen people talking about it except here

I remember in RSC there was a pink partyhat instead of purple I believe.
I remember it was pink colored anyways.

In Rs there was the Black Partyhat for Jagex moderators, as others have said.
But no pink in rs2 xD

Yeah the pink is real- I've only played SilabSoft once and the black partyhat looked bad.
I found proof, its some kids RuneScape website which seems very old, as it mentions the prices and theres Pink Partyhat sitting there.

Thanks for the newsflash. The Pink Phats still exist but since Runescape 2 has been out they were darkened in color and renamed Purple Partyhats.

As for the Black Partyhat, it is just a myth started by someone and it just kept gaining momentum. It never was an actual item in the official game since I've been around even before holiday items were created and even before Mithril, Adamant, and Rune existed.

 

Pink was real in RSC.

Black never existed.

Black P hats are real, Andrew wears his, I know that, seen pics of him with it. Now Pink Phat DOESN'T exist ANYMORE. Now correct me if I am wrong but I am sure that the purple was originally the Pink then converted to the Purple, I believe but yes, I know that Andrew definitely owns a black one, not sure if other J mods do.

Lol, pink phats are the purple phats of today. They use to be the most expensive hats (@ around 5m). Then they duped mass amounts and their price dropped. While blue the most common became rarer and are now the most expensive.

 

The Jagex mods can make any item they wish. At one point, Paul wore either a pink or black partyhat. Regualr players cannot obtain this item, nor were they able to in the past.

Pink party hats are also known as the purple ones today, in some cases. Hope that answers the question.
