Buying Gold

Hey guys. This is most likely a quick-answer question, however I would like to ask it anyway.

People have recently been reporting getting banned for simply transferring gold from a mule to a main for that matter. Are the are new ways that you know that Jagex can use to monitor these trades? Is there any safe way to do this?

I appreciate your answers, and any information you can provide will totally be beneficial.

 

Buying gold will always be safer than selling. Chances of you being banned for buying gold? Very minimal.

What happens if you get caught? Well, they give you a 2nd chance after banning you for 2 weeks. I've never seen this happen though, I've only read a few reddit stories regarding it, and Jmods even confirming it. Again, this is very unlikely t

i have bought sold gold many times never been bannded just must of been really unlucky..

 

trading a few worthless items in trade for the money is common among most people who sell gold, no evidence to back up if it prevents RWT though... nevertheless i do it anyway just for the slight chance that it might be safer lol

A lot of people do this, because they believe it's safer. Personally to me it's the opposite, especially considering everyone does it. It seems sketchy, a few logs and feathers for say 50m 07?

At OP I have no understanding why JaGeX would be banning anyone for transferring money from mule to main. I get a lot of requests to do so, but refrain from doing those transfers in case the individual is hacked, or attempting to RWT through me which will risk my account. Is there any specific place or evidence saying people are getting banned for that, or rumours?

 

You have to trade flagged seller / IP to get banned for RWTing, or just get reported by someone. Chances for ban while purchasing gold from "clean" source is close to 0.
