New type of punishment for botting

    Hey everyone,
after discovering this on the RuneScape forums and doing some research I have found that there appears to be a "new" punishment for botters. The punishment being having a skill rolled back, or reset to 1 depending on the scale that has been botted.

This is what I've recovered from my research, but is this infact true for a fact? Seems a bit laid back to me, but good news to you botters I guess.

I've seen pics of this happening, but I've also heard that people usually get permanent bans after this happens

true and if they only roll back it would be useless since you can just reskill them botting it only takes more time..

I think jagex is trying a punishment that doesn't make you "quit" playing, especially on mains. If my main is b&, I'm likely to quit. If my main is statwiped, I may stop botting (or at the very least, I'm likely to continue paying to get my level back to what it was).
