How to gain Mobilising Armies ranks efficiently?

Been doing conflicts for few hours and gotten my rank to 40. Was wondering what is the best way to gain it. Surely, its not very long doing it like that but if there is some better way, would like to hear about it.

 

Go to seige, play the game for 5 minutes or so, then kill your units with cannons.

 

how long does it take to upgrade a onyx ring? does it take longer or shorter then getting a torso? and a onyx ring is the best ring you can upgrade right?

 

Purchase 10 Light Squads (any race will do).
Purchase 5 Cannons.

At the beginning send every single troop to attack the walls of the castle. As soon as the timer reaches '26 Minutes' remaining commit suicide by using your cannons on yourself.
Basically the aim of this strategy is to get the game over as quick as possible, but still staying in it long enough to get 1 point. Using this method you can easily reach the limit of 12 points per hour (that's the max amount of ranking you can gain every 60 minutes)

Getting the tokens is not an issue. I have 211k tokens at rank 30 or so. But getting rank to 300 is quite a problem. Basically you get max 12 ranks per hour so do the math.
