    Dell XPS M1730

I have a Dell XPS M1730, what does not turn on.
When i plug it in, the power light lights up for a second and then dissapears.
Also, when i hold down the power button, the caps lock, num lock and scroll lock lights start to blink. What may be the problem?
I really want to get the laptop working again :(

Try taking out the battery and just using the charger.

If that doesn't work its probably the motherboard.

Possibly the memory.Take out all but one memory stick to test.

Contact Dell support via chat/phone, not us. They'll walk you, step by step, through troubleshooting.

As much as I hate Dell, I will give them this - Their support is actually quite decent (at least when it comes to corporate/military contracts.... Not too sure about the regular consumer support)
