Is this legal?

If I have an auto-bumping script for every 8 hours that's on a VPS, Can I create another account that will only bump? This being because I don't feel like writing my own sythe details on a script on a vps just incase.

 

I saw a mod somewhere in the suggestions forum answering about auto bumping and he said as long as it's 8 hours apart there is no issue. Not sure as of the new account, I'm guessing as it's a VPS it won't interfear with your main 'Sept' account, meaning that it's allowed? Just speculation.

 

There's no rule against it as far as I know.

 

Can the "account interaction" rule be explained a bit more? It's a bit general.

 

Interaction between multiple accounts you own. It's vague so it can be handled on a case by case basis. I'd say this violates the rule because you would be interacting with the other accounts thread.

 

To be honest, I was always under the impression that interaction between accounts owned by one individual was limited to vouching each other. I could be wrong but I wouldn't see anything wrong with bumping your own thread using a different account?

 

It's not only limited to self vouching. A couple of examples would be using the other account to circumvent sandbox game rules, or purposely conversing with the account as a means to gain post count. If we were to compare both acts, they both involve posting on another accounts thread which that person possesses. Because the offense isn't malicious, maybe we can acquit users for situations specific to this, but as it stands it does violate the rule.
