Questions about namechange feature

Hey, was wondering with most of the sythe members if name change gets accepted soon, or what critiria we have to meet to apply for it. Could any mod leave some info regarding this?

 

Yes, its being worked on. No, the requirements aren't currently available and a mod can't share them with you.

 

Any approximate date when it gets released?

 

"Soon". God knows how long the discussion is, name changes have been requested for years on here.

 

I discussed this with Roary the other day. Expect to see it sometime in September. He didn't give me specifics on requirements, but he said it's not harsh.

To those who meet the requirements.

 

Requirements will probably be some kind of donor rank, maybe a minimum amount of posts too. Perhaps also a ... Months old account.

 

I' don't think post count has to do anything with it, it would cause spam around the forum. I'm not sure about the rank either, but problably, that would make sense

I think the majority of people questioned that a full blown name change would be rather confusing.

Not really if we could see their ex-names... besides not everyone would change it. Name changing shouldn't be a big problem
