You need to set some rules for the chat, NO TRADING and give mods access to kick people and stuff if they don't already have it and bring in active mods.

If people actively used sythechat then we could use it to sell our products easier

 

That's what threads are for. If someone wants to buy something they go to that market and find people. Sythe chat should be used to chat, as the name suggests.

Edit: Sythe can we have an option to make the chat bigger? I like to keep a distance from my monitor when I'm not gaming, ctrl + scrolling ruins all of my pages. If nobody else has this problem then leave it as it is.

The father subforum icons now match their respective games, woot.

 

Good job on that, but the list is growing very long at the moment. I was, as well, under the impression that Govind doesn't have permissions to complete a large portion of the list. Sythechat was a huge issue though, hopefully we can actually get some activity on it.

 

Alright. I envision Sythechat being used for trading on-site in the place of Skype/MSN or other outside sources.

The current methods of creating groups are also sub-par. If possible, implementing a tabbed-structure where users can see the most popular (preset) rooms similar to sections on the forums would be the most convenient. Mods would also have kick/ban abilities in their respective "sections." Privatized groups are a priority as well, for things such as CDT/staff/USL.

This could bring a good bit of traffic from the Sythe group chats, help in assisting new users with issues as well as showing more activity overall.

 

SytheChat was not meant for trading in the sense he is talking about. People go on there and spam the chat with advertisements, and that is not what it is meant for. For trading purposes SC was meant to be used for the fact it is a safer alternative, so people can make their own chats and have the chats logged for admins to see in case of a scam. The main/general chat there was for general chatting, not for advertising/trading.
