    I've released two new features today.

    SytheVerified

    SytheVerified is a program designed to help validate who a user is. While we cannot guarantee someone is who they say they are, we can collect information about them and try to build a profile. Then, should they scam, we can provide that profile to law enforcement.

    SytheVerified is pretty simple. First, you pay a fee using PayPal. The fee exists for two reasons. One, so we can get your name, address, and PayPal information. Two, to cover the cost of the verification process. Once you have paid the fee, you verify your phone number using SMS or a phone call. This is a fully automated process.

    Again, I would like to reiterate: we cannot GUARANTEE a user is who they claim to be and a Sythe Verified User can still scam like anyone else. But, if they do and you file a report against them, we will have more of their personal information to provide.

    MiniRank Trading

    MiniRanks have really caught on in popularity. We're trying to add more ranks often and to come up with new purposes for them. MiniRank Trading fits into that. You can almost think of MiniRanks as items in RuneScape. You can earn them in various ways and you can then trade them.

    It's important to note that many MiniRanks are not tradeable. This includes participant ranks, for example, because they are earned/taken away based on specific criteria. As we introduce more MiniRanks, we're going to try and make as many of them tradeable as we can.

    I'd also like to point out that the MiniRank Trading feature should be considered a "beta" as it requires further testing.

    Could you explain the different "levels" of verification? Not big on submitting a photo id or anything over the internet if that is the direction that this process will be moving in.

    Nice work, I can foresee people paying out $ for miniranks :p

    Edit: It would be great if you could list the tradable miniranks, since all I can see so far as being tradable is the St Paddy's Day one.

    Nice work but I don't think admins should be allowed to trade mini ranks. I'm not trying to target N4N0 specifically and I don't see anything wrong in what he does but he likes to give himself some cool mini ranks. And again I don't see anything wrong with that if he keeps it to himself but it'll be unfair if he can I guess spawn ranks and sell them. Also I'm not saying he'll do this(and I don't really see him doing so...) but later down the road if anything happens and what not.

    I guess I also may be confused; mini ranks are the ones to the right, correct? Or are they the mudkip ones etc.

    There is only one level right now which is phone verification. There may be more in the future.

    You can trade miniranks for $ if you wish. It's up to you. You would just trade the minirank for nothing in our system and then pay the user or something. You should probably use a middleman.

    Yes. You can trade a minirank for nothing. So you could trade PayPal for a MiniRank for example. As far as we're concerned, however, you traded for nothing.

    I think you need to limit the trade for nothing requests available. I just sent 3-4 in 2 mins asking for free stuff essentially, and since it sends the users a PM then I imagine you could simply spam them with it and it would get quite annoying. A little like someone following you around in RS asking for free money...

    Edit: Or better still, add the option to stop users from being able to send you requests.

    A limit would be simpler. I just tested it out, and since it doesn't create a "sent" PM then it is very effective for annoying the targeted user.

    Yes. It's a PM like any other. Although you shouldn't report it as spam if you only get one... Only if it's actually spam.
