2015-2016 NFL Discussion Thread

There was one created last season and it was a pretty active/cool thread where we just discussed everything, but I haven't seen any NFL thread made yet and we are already in the 3rd week of preseason..so yeah where are the fans man??

 

Never followed the NFL before, lived in Alabama where we have the Crimson Tide and no pro teams. I need someone to give me some good picks

 

Wow really, what happened to all the other NFL fans??

 

Hopefully this picks up after week one...?

Also, shoutout to the STL offense for completely shitting the bed. The defense played out of their mind, taking 2 picks and a fumble from a QB who hasn't thrown 2 picks at home in 5 years. They held the Packers to 17 points (7 came from a pick-six). Nick Foles threw for under 80 yards, including a pick in the end zone. Plus, they missed 3 field goals (granted 2 were 55+ yards). STL could have done the unthinkable and beaten GB at home, but the offense couldn't get anything going.

Going off that, it's not entirely Foles fault, he had absolutely no protection the entire game, I didn't see more than two snaps where he had any sort of time in the pocket. Cmon O-Line

PS. Shoutout to the Cleveland Clowns for beating the Ravens in Baltimore

 

Broncos will definitely win it all Denver till the end!

 

Denver has one of the best defenses in the league, but Manning has been on a downward spiral ever since the SB blowout. They will continue to dominate the subpar AFC-West, but don't expect Denver to beat any of the top teir teams in games that count. This is (again) the year of the Patriots and Packers. Denver will clench a first round playoff bye, but lose their first playoff game for the second year in a row

 

Raiders are currently 4-3 and could have been 5-2 if they didnt suffer some shitty kicks lol.

I was big on the Broncos having a sub-par season at best but after beating the Packers they've shown me that they're capable of beating any team at any given time and capable of beating a top tier team in Greenbay as well.

 

Everybody knows that it's either going to be the Broncos, Patriots, or Packers that win the super bowl this year. Personally I think the Patriots are going to win it.

 

Patriots are on fire man they are killing everyone in their path.

 

Eagles taking down the cowgirls in overtime, what a game..

 

I know youre already banned but its pretty embarrassing celebrating that win. The cowboys have been ravaged by injuries and currently employing their third string quarterback. However seeing as youre a eagles fan i expect this kind of attitude and trash from philly. Everyone thought the eagles were going to be good this year. What a joke of a team and city all wrapped into one. Try putting real cheese on a sand which while youre at it.

 

Beating the cowboys is not an accomplishment at all, the fact that the Eagles went to overtime with the injury infested Cowboys is something to be embarassed about.
