    Title says it all. Was 117KG, am now 80KG with a 13% bodyfat. If you need tips or just any questions, i'm happy to answer them. I know I could've have used some answers when I began my journey.

    Are you satisfied with your current figure? A lot of the time people just get to the point where what they see just isn't good enough.

    To start with, I used the 5x5 stronglifts routine. As a total of from when I started to where I am now, it took a year and a half.

    Answered the first question in the last post, and as to how long i've maintained it, it has been a year now I think.

    Will post them later tonight.

    The hardest part is probably staying motivated and cutting out some of the foods you have to, but it's only temporary. Once you earn a cheat meal, it tastes a lot better.

    My girlfriend had broken up with me and hence I fetl like I took a lot of motivation in proving to her and myself that I was worth a lot more. It seems a bit shallow but meh.

    A 3 day a week lifting routine (heavy) and a vigourous cardio routine.

    It took a year and a half.

    It was the best feeling on earth, it truly felt like I had achieved something. I felt a huge surge of confidence all the time. It was great.

    I left behind all the stereotypical shit, soft drinks, fast food, sugars, unnecessary carbs.

    My next goals are just getting better and better. I have no interest in bodybuilding competitions or the such though.

    I know I look good, but I could look better. It sort of is true.

    I sort of treated myself to small things every once in a while, like a coke or a small ice cream. I still don't have major cheat days, but say, for example: I'm going out for food with my girlfriend, I'll never order something I don't want, I'll eat the burger if I want the burger. It's about moderation.

    Yeah I'm assuming you had to make cuts in your diet. I used to be a soda drinker, but I stopped by choice and it was surprisingly easy. Now I prefer water to the extent that casual sodas aren't even good tasting to me.

    I would like to see pics as well, because this sounds impressive. 37 kg in 1.5 years.

    Any specific foods you'd suggest for protein, carbs, etc?

    I've been working on nailing down my diet, and its been decent so far, but I have yet to perfect it I feel. Looking for food suggestions so I can piece together my own :)

    My protein is mainly through fish, I buy it in large quantities (frozen packets), for fats I just follow the handful of almonds rule, and for carbs it's the stereotypical sweet potatoes, brown bread etc.

    Ahh gotcha gotcha. I don't really like nuts much lols, I just kinda ignore fats, but for the other two here is what I use for the most part:

    Protein:
    - Chicken
    - Ground Lean Turkey Breast
    - Edamame
    - Protein Bars

    Carbs:
    - Brown Rice
    - Whole grain/wheat w/e bread
    - Quinoa

    Any thoughts?
