So many people sit there fapping vigorously over that gif of Clowney getting a stuff in the backfield yet he didn't do anything, it's simply the Falcons TE didn't even block him.

And that's the Panthers blown out by the Pats. While it is the pre-season so I have to temper my enthusiasm, it's got me pumped for sure.

I know it should ease by the regular season but who else is sick of all these flags thrown every other play?

Flags aren't thrown that often, and plus pre season doesn't mean shit.

Regardless of whether or not the TE blocked him, the fact that he saw the run and targeted the RB's entry hole rather than chasing the ball, leading to a tackle of matt ryan after the handoff.

Mark Sanchez's problem was he kept getting confused with the green ground and the jets Jersey's.

    U wot m8?

I know there will be less flags in the regular season as players realize what they can and can't get away with and the refs ease up slightly on this new bull shit point of emphasis but at the end of the day, pre-season games are somewhat tedious in the first place and now they're being interrupted so frequently that it really is frustrating.

    http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2014/08/flag_day_penalties_are_up_acro.html

"Penalties are up across the league. Through 62 games, officials have called an average of 23.7 penalties per game (11.8 per team). That's almost twice the total of the 2013 regular season, when an average NFL game featured 12.7 penalties (6.3 per team). The league average has fluctuated between 13.2 and 12.4 penalties per game over the past five seasons."

What's gonna happen when Wilson and other rookies get off their first contract and are looking for a big pay day though?

What do you mean? He's done fairly well in the preseason.

I haven't been following the preseason that much, so idk if that's true or not. But after his performance on the Jets, I can't see him being around more then 3 years. Although he did get the Jets to 2 championships, so maybe he will do well on the eagles.

It's really a sad thing that someone as terrible as Sanchez can still be relevant since the quality at the QB position is lacking so much. Jets could've still used him as geNO isn't looking too good. Manuel for the Bills is reportedly doing terrible too. I'd say Foles is definitely the starter for the Eagles.

Anyone else having a giggle at the Browns?

    http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...stem-featuring-johnny-manziel-is-on-the-table

"I think in the NFL that you do yourself a disservice if you don't have two quarterbacks ready. And people have asked me about potentially a two-quarterback system and having a package for [Manziel]. That is on the table," Pettine told SiriusXM NFL Radio.

    Pre-Season at an end finally!

Carr had a great outing against the Seahawks. Him, Bortles and Garropolo all had a strong pre-season imo.

Don't really like the NFL but actually my friends told me that it's funny how they play so we'll look towards this to see if I ever like it.
