Video banned

Judging by the reporters claim I think Video will be unbanned soon, seeing as he was banned in the "idea" of receiving info from a seller and the buyer backing out. So the seller thinks it was a set up and now video has all the info etc.

 

Ya thats a bullshit ban. The proof just shows that after getting the info, the other guy involved in the MM backed out. I have had that happen to me several times when I MM as well. Doesnt mean he is a scammer.

Though this isn't the place to discuss this, if I were the MM in a trade between you and a buyer and I just got your account info and both me and the buyer suddenly leave, is that not grounds for suspicion?

It doesnt really show that, it just shows that the buyer backed out. From the MSN convo, it seemed as though video was unaware until the moment it occurred that the buyer was backing out. I have had this happen to me several times during some of my MM's, does that merit a ban for me as well?

 

If you leave as soon as you get the account info, then yes it does. If the buyer felt unsafe he should have told the MM and the MM should have told that to the seller.

 

I'm sure video could have actually scammed something a lot more in value....unless the account was really good, but the seller or w/e could easily recover it?

 

Absolutely correct. What it appears to be is that the seller did not provide as much info as the buyer thought he would. As a good MM, he would tell the buyer "hey I only got ___ information". Then the buyer backed out due to lack of pertinent info.
