I do not believe they even really got away. We normal release them on house arrest in Qatar I believe.

One person may seem pointless to you, but when you are that one person and the government refuses to save you and leave you to rot in a prison, lets see how you and your family feels.

No. Giving in to these deals only leads to them thinking they can extort us in the future.

First off he abandoned his post and doesn't deserve to be saved. He is lucky his is an American and is still alive. I think the main reason he was saved is because he knows how we work. He understands combat and could teach our enemies our tactics. Personally I think he shouldn't be looked at as a hero and should be in jail for the rest of his term and get a dishonorable discharge.

 

yes releasing them to get one person is still worth it. guys please think about this: What if you was that person?
what if the government didn't care about you?
it is obv worth it. if your against this please start to care about other people then just yourself..!

 

The dude is a deserter, he should've rotted where he stayed. I'm sure he didn't have a clearance above secret so he couldn't have "taught" anything to anyone.
