Yes, some sort of cancer I believe.

The old nite died of colon cancer. He was battling it for a few years and was playing RS at the same time. One day he became very sick and logged off in the middle of his party celebrating 2079 total level (second person to ever max out next to zezima). He logged out abruptly and went to the doctor. He stayed in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks and died.
