Seems to me you think those kids grew up in the same place you did, with comfortable homes, decent schools, and caring parents. It's impossible for you (or anyone on this forum for that matter, including me) to imagine the type of mindset you'd have if you grew up in the same environment as them. I guarantee you their lives weren't as jolly as yours is, even prior to being kidnapped. These 10 year olds aren't the same kind you'd see around your school.

Don't assume where people grew up. I was born in Russia. Dirt poor. Moves to america, dirt poor. Different from there's sure? But people there do have consciences, they know right from wrong. They weren't born into that, they were abducted.

Everyone in my family on both my mother and father's side grew up poor, yet they've all grown up (save for one, who passed away in a car accident) to lead successful lives.
