I'm not a GFX Wizard, but...

As the title states, I'm not a GFX wizard, nor do I use any hi-tech photo editing program. But once in awhile I try to do a little bit of GFX on PDN(Paint.NET). For all of you that don't know what PDN is, just google it. Its a free program, sort of like GIMP, but I like it better. So, here is what I recently created. If you wouldn't mind, a little bit of CnC? Also, don't use technical terms, once again, I'm not a GFX wiz.

Once again, can I get some CnC?

Pretty good, I know it's not some high-tech program but it's pretty simple.

Maybe put the render out in from of everything, as that 1 blue thing over it makes it duller and not stand out.

It's better, but now the blue backround doesn't match up.

Try changing the backround to a darker color like a dark grey or nice dark blue to match with the figures 'armour'.

    GIMP is much better.
    until you find photoshop.
if you read a few tutorials, averaging say, 1 hour of pure reading, you'll know as much about how to use photoshop as any decent GFXer.
i don't like the sig, merely because it has no flow, it looks just like a render on some fractal type work.
read some tuts on backgrounds, smudging, clipping, c4ds etc...
