Smithing guide for f2p

Here's a guide on how to make money on smithing and how to get from smithing lvl 1-99 with A LOT of money. I have calculated how long time everything will take.
(The time is based on a f2p with 1 agility and start with 0 running. He's going to the furnace/anvil and then run back with the running he've got. I did this 4 times with each of the methods so I found a rhythm. The last time I found out how long time he used on one turn. Then I found out how many bars he can finish in one hour. Then I found out how much xp he's getting per hour and how much money he's paying/getting per hour based on the market price 6. March 2009.)

When you're making bars Al-Kharid is absolutely the best place to go for f2p
(One turn go back from the furnace in Al-Kharid takes around 20s. Falador West-Bank is the second best with around 25s.)

Steel bars is absolutely the best way to earn money. Even better than rune! You earn 132985 gp per hour.
(This is how much you earn if you buy and sell on market price. Rune can be better than steel if you're selling the runite bars for over market price or buy for the runite ores under market price)

When you're making armour, the Varrock West Bank is absolutely the best place to make it.

I couln't get it lucid, but I hope you understood it. The first number is gp per hour and the second is xp per hour.

Finally here's the smithing guide 1-99 for them who have A LOT of money
Lvl 1-3:
Make 14 bronze axes. It will cost you 2282 gp if you can sell the bronze axes to market price. If not it will cost you 2464 gp. You will have 175 xp.

Lvl 3-4:
Make 9 bronze med helms. It will cost you 1440 gp if you can sell the bronze med helms to market price. If not it will cost you 1584 gp. You will have 288 xp.

Lvl 4-5:
Make 9 bronze swords. It will cost you 1431 gp if you can sell the bronze swords to market price. If not it will cost you 1584 gp. You will have 401 xp.

Lvl 5-6:
Make 5 bronze scimitars. It will cost you 1615 gp if you can sell the bronze scimitars to market price. If not it will cost you 1760 gp. You will have 526 xp.

Lvl 6-7:
Make 5 bronze longswords. It will cost you 1565 gp if you can sell the bronze longswords to market price. If not it will cost you 1760 gp. You will have 651 xp.

Lvl 7-9:
Make 13 bronze full helms. It will cost you 4030 gp if you can sell the bronze full helms to market price. If not it will cost you 4576 gp. You will have 976 xp.

Lvl 9-14:
Make 31 bronze warhammers. It will cost you 15221 gp if you can sell the bronze warhammers to market price. If not it will cost you 16368 gp. You will have 2139 xp.

Lvl 14-16:
Make 17 bronze 2h swords. It will cost you 8296 gp if you can sell the bronze 2h swords to market price. If not it will cost you 8976 gp. You will have 2777 xp.

Lvl 16-18:
Make 20 bronze plateskirts. It will cost you 7040 gp if you can sell the bronze plateskirts to market price. If not it will cost you 10560 gp. You will have 3527 xp.

Lvl 18-21
Go 4 turns making 5 platebodies+1 full helm and then a turn with 3 platebodies. (23 platebodies+4 full helms). It will cost you 18007 gp if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 20239 gp. You will have 5065 xp.

Lvl 21-22:
Make 12 iron longswords. It will cost you 4488 gp if you can sell the iron longswords to market price. If not it will cost you 5556 gp. You will have 5656 xp.

Lvl 22-24
Go 2 turns making 13 iron full helms+1 sword and then a turn with 1 iron full helm. (27 iron helms+2 swords). It will cost you 10553 gp if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 13427 gp. You will have
7056 xp.

Lvl 24-26
Make 23 iron warhammers. It will cost you 14327 gp if you can sell the iron warhammers to market price. If not it will cost you 16560 gp. You will have 8781 xp.

Lvl 26-31
Make 81 iron chainbodies. It will cost you 46980 gp if you can sell the iron chainbodies to market price. If not it will cost you 58320 gp. You will have 14856 xp.

Lvl 31-33
Make 46 iron platelegs. It will cost you 24780 gp if you can sell the iron platelegs to market price. If not it will cost you 33120 gp. You will have 18306 xp.

Lvl 33-39
Go 22 turns making 5 iron platebodies+1 full helm and then a turn with 4 iron platebodies. (114 iron platebodies+22 full helms) It will cost you 107396 gp if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 152640 gp. You will have 33656 xp.

Lvl 39-46
Make 306 steel warhammers. It will cost you 422892 gp if you can sell the steel warhammers to market price. If not it will cost you 575586 gp. You will have 68081 xp.

Lvl 46-48
Make 133 steel platelegs or skirts. It will cost you 177023 gp if you can sell the steel platelegs or skirts to market price. If not it will cost you 250173 gp. You will have 83044 xp

Lvl 48-59
Go 162 turns making 5 steel platebodies+1 full helm and then a turn with 5 steel platebodies.(815 platebodies+162 full helms) It will cost you 296637 if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 489687 gp. You will have 248007 xp.

Lvl 59-62
Make 572 mithril warhammers. It will cost you 1265264 gp if you can sell the mithril warhammers to market price. If not it will cost you 2006004 gp. You will have 333807 xp

Lvl 62-64
Make 489 mithril kite shields. It will cost you 1066509 gp if you can sell the mithril kite shields to market price. If not it will cost you 1714923 gp. You will have 407157 xp.

Lvl 64-68
Make 1320 mithril 2h swords. It will cost you 2570040 gp if you can sell the mithril 2h swords to market price. If not it will cost you 4629240 gp. You will have 605157 xp.

Lvl 68-79
Go 847 turns making 5 mithril platebodies+1 sq shield and then a turn with 1 mithril platebody.(4435 platebodies+847 sq shields) It will cost you 12621089 gp if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 27729459 gp. You will have 1798857 xp.

Lvl 79-84
Make 6147 adamant warhammers. It will cost you 23083985 gp if you can sell the adamant warhammers to market price. If not it will cost you 42838443 gp. You will have 2951420 xp.

Lvl 84-88
Make 7650 adamant 2h swords. It will cost you 24357600 gp if you can sell the adamant 2h swords to market price. If not it will cost you 53312850 gp. You will have 4385795 xp.

Lvl 88-94
Go 2109 turns making 5 adamant platebodies+1 longswords.(10545 platebodies+2109 longswords) It will cost you 28914390 gp if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 137177796 gp. You will have 7944733 xp.

Lvl 94-96
Make 7733 rune warhammers. It will cost you 181972956 gp if you can sell the rune warhammers to market price. If not it will cost you 398883606 gp. You will have 9684658 xp.

Lvl 96-97
Make 4480 rune chainbodies. It will cost you 89953920 gp if you can sell the rune chainbodies to market price. If not it will cost you 231087360 gp. You will have 10692658 xp.

Lvl 97-99
Make 10408 rune kite shields. It will cost you 3715656 gp if you can sell the rune kite shields to market price. If not it will cost you 536865456 gp. You will have 13034458 xp.

Finally you’re 99 smithing!!!

If you sold all the armor after making it you will have paid 370 687 412 gp for it.

If you kept all the armor after making it you will have paid 1 437 910 077 gp for it. (For them who don’t want to waste their time on selling for so small value.)

If lvl 99 smithing isn't enough. You can try to get 200,000,000 xp

From lvl 99 smithing to 200,000,000 you need to go 92329 turns making 5 rune platebodies+1 scimitar.(461645 platebodies+92329 longswords) It will cost you 14 766 123 660 gp if you can sell the all the armor to market price. If not it will cost you 44 450 159 308 gp. You will have 200,000,000 xp.
It will take nearly 1100 hours (nearly 46 days 24/7) of effective time running up and down from the bank and the anvil.

I made it all by myself. It took 2 days (totally 8 hours). I just used a site for finding out how much xp you get per bar and per armor.

What rubbish. No one has that sort of money and all you did was do a few calculations and made an elaborate guide. The best way to 85 smithing is through buying the ores and nature runes, then high alching steel plates, at which I was losing 284gp per steel bar. I made the cash with 84 mining (plus stout) to mine runite ores and then got 85 mining/85smithing. You would never make rune stuff to get to 99. It's always been steel, mith and at a stretch addy if you don't lose too much money.

370 millions is full possible. It's much, much faster to do it that way, than making steel bars. Much of the rune stuff you can sell for a high price, and then don't lose so much. You will actually lose less making addy platebody (lose 361 gp per bar, but gives more xp), than mithril platebody and steel platebody per xp. Addy platebody gives 20 times faster xp than steel bars!!! Instead of using 20 hours getting 150000 xp you can just use 1 hour, and thats a big differens.
And rune kite shield and rune 2h sword you will just lose around 75 gp and 110 gp per runite bar.

Rune kiteshield=3 runite bars
Kiteshield sells for 51225 gp and 3 runite bars cost 51582 gp.

This guide was for people who have A LOT of money and don't care about using money.

And it was not just a few calculations.
