So fun and addicting - thanks for this!

 

Isn't RSC riddled with bots/glitches?

 

Pretty much but im hoping they keep rsc open to all members and have a ban wave honestly.

Awesome, I thought I would never get the chance again to play it... but I wonder if they wipe bots for the reopening or is botting officially allowed in rsc now?

 

why would they allow botting on rsc lol?

 

they havent banned any bots on rsc since 2008

 

This lol. There's also few updates on RSC so you can leave a bot running on a VPS for a full month and not have to check it. I was running 8 druid accounts for half a year in early 2015.

 

I hope they release the classic cape for 07. I really liked the RS3 version, it was awesome to have on my old main

 

I never got to try RSC, even though I've been around since 05. Stupid irl friend kept hacking my account so now I can't even get it back Wan't the nostalgia of logging in on my very first account, couldn't successfully recover. Oh well, I'll try it this time around.

 

Yeah good conversation. In my opinion, If jagex was smart they would keep RSC playable for all members permanently adding a more p2p servers accordingly as well as adding like 2 F2P servers so that random noobs can try it! Old School Runescape just proved it would double the population nearly by adding F2P and most of us member up soon anyway. So end the end Jagex and the community of RSClassic players will both win. As far as bots go... Idc

 

if they opennd it and added in high scores again it would get a decent enough number of people playing it, especially for the PKIN as the 3 hit system back in the day was awesome. As was the staking

but xp rates are so freaking slow

 

Personally never tried RSClassic before but I will be trying it out most likely.

 

I missed all of the re-openings in 2010-2011 so this is the best news I've heard since hearing about old school coming back

 

Prepare yourself man. I tried it when it reopened years ago, I was absolutely shocked lol.

 

Oh wow, I'm really excited for this I play RSC on my main every now and then but I always stop because there isn't a big enough community. Hopefully this event will increase activity for a while.

 

Wow keen, I used to play it a fair bit but I was so young hopefully I'll be able to enjoy it much more this time.

 

So, how many different versions of RS can you play? Classic, 07, RS3, 07 Pk Style, RS3 Pk Style? They didn't have the playerbase to play most minigames on their main server even before releasing 07, and now they've fractured their community into even further pieces.
