Minimize your RSBot to System Tray!

This useful tool will allow you to both save taskbar space and bot without other people noticing. This is all made possible by the TrayIt! application, featured on Lifehacker. It allows you to minimize any application to your taskbar, thus cleaning up your cluttered taskbar. There are two options when using this: Hold shift when clicking the minimize button, or right clicking the minimize button and check "Place in System Tray". That will cause that chosen application (in our case RSbot) to go into your task bar every time without holding shift when clicking.

TUTORIAL ~

1.) Download TrayIt! application from http://trayit.en.softonic.com/
1.2) Feel free to scan, you paranoid people out there. (Both newuser666 and LexElf have confirmed that it's clean.)
2.) Install
3.) Restart if necessary (Forgot if you have to or not)
4.) Start up TrayIt!
5.) Start up RSbot
6.) Right click on the 'Minimize' icon. (Top right corner of RSBot, retards)
7.) Click on the line 'Place in System Tray'.
8.) Set up RSBot
9.) Minimize! Go go go!

Usefull, just started RSbot today, amazing.

 

This is a very useful tool, but if you move the folder after you run it, you will have to restart.

Thanks, works great lol, you could just use windows hider and it will hide it until you hit a key sequence to unhide it.

 

thx btw if school blocks all games, youtube etc does rsbot still work? or will it also be blocked

 

it'd be blocked i do believe, because even though its a bot (or client looking thing) it still has to go to the website inorder to play, if i am correct that is.

I cant go on runescape at school either.

Yes RSBOT works at school so u can use that.

 

I would reccomend ionic tray its much faster and better

 

Why would you want to bot at school?
