Goldfaming still alive?

I've been away from RS for about a year, was wondering how effective bot farms are.

How high are the ban rates? Which skills commonly get banned?

 

Very much alive. I'd say less than what it use to be, but you'll never stop golfarming. The ban rate is incredibly high. Higher than ever before.

Skills- eh. Depends. Whatever currently makes the most gp before you get banned.

 

I'd say ban rate is really high.. I've never been banned, and I've ran bots for 3 days at a time, and completely botted a maxed turmoil pure back in the day. Been botting for over 3 years accumatively.. and I got my first ban yesterday by botting chaos druids for maybe 10 hours a day. Some places are really bad. (Ie chins, chaos druids).

Just to go a little more in depth and back this;

I keep about 10 accounts botting at a time.

In the past 30 days I've accumulated 35 perm ban'd accounts, and this hasn't been my worst this year.

 

Stopped my bot farm when i lost everything, but i only had 10 bans over 50 accounts in 1.5 months. Schedule breaks often, bot in not infested worlds & places, advance anti bans & use non flagged ip.

 

I run a large scale gold farm during my college suspension(6 months), and I was pulling close to $750/weekly during the months of May-August before I took a break for college...

Bans 4 months ago, were so rare..I would go 3 - 4 months with 1 set of accounts at 24/7 and make a huge profit.

Now... I have went through a total of a little over 125 accounts in 35-45 days, and on average I go through a total of about 50 accounts a week...
None the less, I am still gold farming at a decent rate of 150-175M/Weekly, but the repetitiveness of making new accounts every time they get banned can get quite tiring after a while, but since I'm suspended from college...I figure, might as well.

Bans are high atm for both rs3 and 07, but goldfarming is definitely still manageable.

I think I'm going to try my luck and start a bot farm on 07' and see how it turns out.

 

Bans rates are really high for goldfarmers, you cant really bot for long with more than 3 accounts at the same time.

 

You have to be really crafty to goldfarm via botting now. 07 is far better to goldfarm on due to the $ per hour and the relatively lower chance of being banned. Still, it isn't nearly as profitable as it once was.
