Best skills to go 99 first?

Working on an old crappy account its got 87 attack, 81 strength, 70 defense. the rest of the stats are minimal. I've got a lot of gold but I dont really want to run out just wasting it lol. I was just wondering what the best skill to level up that offers more later on in terms of skill collaboration.

 

depends on your idea of " a lot " of gold. If you have plenty as in hundreds of mils, herblore and prayer are pricey but pay themselves off if you like pvm.

 

Got 2Billion spare in the bank, using 175m to try get everything up to a steady level.

 

Herb and Construction is good.

 

Not sure if you were looking for any skill, or a buyable skill.

Efficiently? I'd just level up combat stats, through slayer+invention for max efficiency. Prayer for ss+turm is well worth it, herblore obviously with overloads, supreme overloads etc worth it.

^ Construction? I don't really see how useful that would be though in terms of what he is looking for. Just my opinion some more useful buyables you could do as said, prayer/herblore would be way more useful then say smithing/crafting/con and so on.

 

Not really sure how invention works but this is a fairly fresh main so need to get prerequisites for invention first :{ But will get 96 herb and 95 prayer for sure, already got frost bones for prayer.

 

As previously said, focus on herblore and prayer the most. After that it's suggested that you do slayer (for loot and xp)
If you got high combat stats and herb/pray you are pretty much set for PvM. Dont worry about other skills, if you want some bonuses you should do some invention too, but dont set your focus on that.

Get atleast 90+ atk/rng/mage/str, you will know what to do after that

Do slayer and raise your combat stats through killing the slayer monsters, kill two birds with one stone.

 

+ invention = 3 birds, one stone!

Seriously though if you get bored of combat, get 80 div and 80 crafting so you can start invention. I would also highly recommend some dung to get a charming imp because you'll need high summoning if you want to boss and I swear to god charming imps are the most useful item in RS3.

 

Baauer is the only who is kind of mentioned it. I would recommend Divination. It's free, if you don't buy energies. I know you said money isn't an issue, but does offer you some good stuff in the long run. You could also sell or keep the energies (takes longer to lvl up this way though) for Invention. It also gives you access to portents and signs of life/death.

Got 99 herb back on dxp, got 95 prayer a while ago and going for 99 slayer first i guess, not really full dedication but thats what I'm paying more attention to atm

 

Are you planning to boss?

 

Yeah soon as I get max out lol, doing slayer up till I max combat out.

 

I also recommend dungeoneering. Many of the items you can get are helpful in slayer/bossing (bonecrusher, charmng imp, weapons, etc).
