Invention Released

Just got into training invention.

Currently augmenting t70 weapons and armor, leveling to cap, then disassembling them. Should I use t70 weapons and disassemble? Or go for t90 and siphon?

Feel free to discuss the update, give tips, etc.

 

Finding it very hard to buy items in the GE at the moment.

If something is worth 50gp I can offer 1000 and it won't buy. I might do the white knight armor shop method.

 

does this mean party hat prices will drop?

 

Wait what so this skill has been out for like 2 days and 2 people have already 120'd it.........? Is it a buyable or something?

 

The fastest training methods are buyable. Also you get much faster XP at higher levels than in other skills.

Currently level 40.

 

got 99, considering how to get 120 now


massing corp with augmented gear is good currently, and now shockingly its nerfed

 

Can't wait for the 100k-200k XP/hr skill to come out! I assume they put it on hold while they put out the 4M xp/hr skill.

Is Invention fun? I remember when dungeoneering came out, that shit was popping. I don't really play rs3, but I don't remember the last time they released a fun stat

Eh.. really can't say I'm too impressed by this skill, hopefully helps the eco a bit though

 

Was going to be grinding this out, but I'm done with RS3 shit. Moved to 07, and I'm happy. So sick of all these buyable skills.

Though the skill seems very in depth and a fresh idea for RuneScape, I just don't like the idea of another buyable 99/120.

 

On launch it was completely buyable and 8-10M xp per hour. They patched the item being abused, nerfed the xp rate for creating gizmos by 50%, and buffed training invention in combat by 1800%.

Its a lot less of a buyable now, more like an item sink/ supplemental skill to PVM. You train with augmented gear in combat, and then disassemble them for 540k per piece. Takes about 1-3 hours to do. You can also siphon the XP without destroying the item for 50% of that XP. So it can be slightly pricy but not a complete buyable anymore.

 

Another reason not to play rs3.

As in, I hope it makes little nerds pour bills into 120'ing this so the gold price sky rockets lol

 

I thought Jagex would have realised how badly Runescape 3 has become by now, guess not.

What's the perks of this new skill, armour, access to bosses, more money?
