commission staking

commission staking is allowed in rs3?

 

Grey area. Common sense dictates that it's not allowed, but people get away with it because Jagex don't take action against the people who do it.

 

Well jagex isn't banning any commission stakers on rs3, so I guess its not that big of a deal at the moment.

Yes it's allowed, it's only outlawed on 07 due to the price of gold to be honest.

 

no lol. because 07 had 10+ people commission staking on stream at once and almost all were scammers, RS3 has trusted clans that commission stake. price of gold has nothing to do with it since on rs3 the stakes are mostly 5x the amount anyway lol..

 

Thats not actually true, there were large trusted clans that many trusted people on sythe were ranked in, as to why it was removed, JaGex even said themselves that it was a main cause of RWT and they said some % figure of how many people commission staking were real world trading.

 

You're clearly mis-informed, the main reason was for RWT as people were making insane amounts of money and selling it, I used to commission stake myself and was banned before it was even against the rules, I never even sold any of my gold either, just streamed.

 

On point but there were a few other reasons as well. When jagex came out with that poll the 3 biggest commission staking clans got together and did a massive drop party. They wanted people to vote to keep commission staking and it royally pissed off 07 mods. They also knew Starry was the owner of Main Stakers / Max Mains which at the time was the biggest commission staking clan.

 

I don't understand the difference in rules that makes it ok in rs3 but not ok in 07

 

Starry and smite are the two most scum rs players.

if you only do a few a day I don't think anyone would care but if you were streaming and telling everyone about it I think it would cause problems for you lol
