Share on accounts getting wiped/banned for RWT-ing?

Just curious to know how hard Jagex is cracking down on RWT. They have certainly gone hardcore on botting.

Well as for myself, I started a new mule for about 5 days, leveled it up a little to like level 10+, got it a bond. Used it as a mule for buying/selling around 2bil worth of RSGP.

Yesterday it got banned, with 400M in it.
Lifespan of the account was around 5 days with around 2bil traded

 

I have used the same account for 3+ years, no wipes, no bans. Must be doing something right I guess.

 

In your case you might of been banned so quickly since you're using a new account. Me personally have used an old account with pretty bad stats and i've never gotten banned from rwting. Hopefully you can get some tips from this post and goodluck in the future!

 

yeah i've used the same mule that must have had 20-30b+ go through it easily that's like 7 years old with some shitty stats, never banned/wiped.

 

brand new account lvl 3 with around 10b traded got banned after 3 months. I was swapping but they called RWT. I had 6 accounts with 600m that didnt had any trades + this one 1.2b. I got banned on all of them but 1 at the same time. That was 2 weeks-1 month after I transfered my gold to 6 accounts. I though it was a good idea but was worst.

 

Probably because of your location.

That's the only thing I can really think of if you're actually from Malaysia. These countries/regions are sort of a red-flag to Jagex imo and they come under intense scrutiny.

 

It works the same way as chain-bans for Botting. You probaly logged on all of them on the same IP address at one point or another

 

I highly doubt it, because Runescape isn't very popular here. Now more so than ever

 

Hence a larger % of people who play the game from your country are involved in goldfarming/rwt, meaning you'll get investigated way faster. I would imagine vpn's used for rwt commonly disguise you as being from Malaysia too.
