how to transfer a name?

i was told to successfully transfer a name. you will need 2 bonds. could anyone explain this?thanks.!

 

You need to change the name that you want to transfer, it then becomes the "previously known as" rsn then you have to change it again to free up the name, with bonds you can reset the monthly timer of being able to change your RSN to being able to do it instantly, obviously once you change it the 2nd time (freeing up the name) be ready to change your name on whichever account you want the RSN on as anyone could snipe it once it is released

 

so if both accounts are f2p, the transfer will cost 3 bonds?

 

I think so yes, although if it has never been memb before then using 1 of the bonds to make it memb will allow you to change your name for free 1 time without having to use another bond to reset the name change timer

 

another question: if the account A already been a member. it will cost only 1 bond to make it rft? so 2 bonds is only for f2p account, right?

 

If the members acc can already change it's name then yes, only 1 bond to make it rft.

 

Both accs f2p: 3 (two to make both accs membs, and the third to change the name of the acc occupying desired name after you use the free RSN change).

Both accs p2p: 1 (just use your free name changes, and then the bond to clear up the "previously known as ____" on the acc with the desired name).
