Just started RS again...

So far really liking it, i am playing RS3 on a brand new account (i quit 3 days before EOC released)

Coming from someone who played RS for only pvp the new RS makes me enjoy the game / pvm and even questing, i see many people debating on which to jump into to start and just figured i'd say runescape is looking good to me and i say jump in

 

Good on you, if you find it fun then by all means go for it. Btw don't pay much attention to skill capes atm, Jagex are in the middle of making you able to toggle between the current messed up ones & the originals.

 

I made a Rags to Riches Runescape 3 account a few months ago and started playing on it again. It's a lot of fun, unfortunately bots have fudged up the economy lol.

Any plans for your new account? What are your goals? Can you run RS3 at max? Game is pretty damn legit if you can.

If you're still into pvp/old combat, why not just join the oldschool version of the game? Its still officially by jagex, has godwars, grand exchange, and none of that shitty cb system/dual wielding rs3 has.

welcome back, a lot has changed. Get used to the abilities as you level up, once you actually understand how stuns,DoT's etc work, you'll realize that EoC actually made RS a lot better. If you have any questions feel free to pm me

 

Yeah i man just the looks and the fact you can't resize it, with my big resolution monitor i have to zoom it way in just to be able to read text, i still love OSRS and watching it on twitch i just rather not play it anymore.

I think the reason rs3 hit a lot of people the wrong way at first is there so much new shit to learn when your main gets force Xfered, but when you make a new account and start getting new abilitys as you level its not bad at all

Rs3 seems like a normal MMORPG to me now. OSRS is the way to go.

 

I like both Rs3 and old school, would probably prefer old school over rs3 but training combat is incredibly slow. I just dont have the patience to train thus forcing me to rs3 as I mainly do pvm and its really hard with low combat skills.

 

Yeah man runescape must be unique and not just like a copy of some MMO's like WoW/LoL (don't really know many other MMO's)

I forgot I left bandos and other armor on my account, stopped playing for I think a year r more and now its worth shit so pissed. But all I hear is everyone hates EOC and likes OSRS. Besides pking I don't see whats so liked about OSRS .

 

I thought bots were almost impossible to use in rs3 as their detection system is great? Is it really easy to bot on rs3 then?

 

For some reason goldfarming bots aren't banned very often. Personal botting is usually banned quite quickly unless it's a new script, which unless you're lucky will give you a delayed ban.

And most of them are perm bans too.

 

I'd recommend you start merchanting or doing some sort of underground trade as it will push you to acquire real life skills.

The future of merchanting may be different, but controlling supply and shortselling items is much more enjoyable and beneficial.
