Partyhat

I was wondering, what would be the best, easiest and cheapest way to get hold of a partyhat ?
Would it be purchasing said in game money, aprox 1.4b for a green, or would it be simpler to just purchase it from a seller on the forums, which are likely a bit more expensive though ?

The thing is, I've been away from the whole RS scene for a little while.
And I don't really know if phats go for just their price, or that it still is phats base + a sum of money ?

 

Honestly phats arent a big deal anymore, but if u really wanna buy them get a pc from r quark on forums. When they give u the price only spend that much or a few mil more anything else prob a scam.
P.s. alot of ppl say r quark manips but tbh if u really want one theyre ur best bet

 

Get a PC from R Quark (does their FC still exist?), or as suggested above on the forums. From there you'll know how much gold to buy. Remember prices change, and R Quark normally gives you the prices of the last known buy/sell prices. So if you get a PC for say 1.4B, don't expect to buy 1.4B and get it 2-3 days later.

I used to be a rank of R quark, they don't manipulate. How it worked, when I was there (years ago), was we just went off based on what people told us. If someone said they sold a purple phat for 1B (but it hovers around 950), they could just let it slide and not update the price, or someone would usually mention their listing that is possibly lower. It is possible for a non rank group to manipulate R Quark, but that's an unlikely scenario.

 

I'm not sure if buying straight from forums would do you any good. People selling there usually sell for different forms of currency and to make some profit. But if you sold your GP for IRL cash and bought a phat off someone quitting RS, they could be selling it extra cheap. Depends on what offers you get tbh .

 

R quark does exist and has 75+ people still at all times, sometimes it's even full. What was your rsn when you were a rank btw? Might know you if you can tell me.

If you want a Partyhat without having to buy one with IRL money, I would suggest making a 2007 account, making money in that game (Abyss would be your best bet- Nature Runes), and then swap that GP over to EoC.

Or you could just start putting money away and buy one off of a trusted member. You could always buy GP in increments over time and save up that way.

But yeah Partyhats usually sell for the price they're in for GE, besides Blue + Whites which are well above GE price.

Edit: After re-reading your post I see what you're asking now. My bad. You're better off just buying it in-game. This isn't like back in the days of no free trade where you had to pay GE price + another sum (basically the prices were decided by the players). You don't need to buy it from a seller on Sythe if you have the cash in hand already in the game. Just find a seller in-game. If you need more money, use my tips above. 07-EoC will make you gold fast.

 

usually the price is set a lil above ge price, but it's also considering which phat you're going for if it's for a blue or whte, yes you're most likely to use item to, but best bet is to buy it on runescape just to be safe
