So i woke up this-morning after not going on my account for 3 days due to doing services for everyone.

woke up to my account telling me its been disabled. Permanently banned with 40m 07 and 2 x yellow phat's rs3.

i only ever play in the rsbuddy client and i dont bot. i haven't even played in 2 days for fuck sake. RIP max cape and $1500 worth of gold for no fucking reason.

Fuck you Jagex.

Pretty sure they can nab you just for using the client. Not sure why you'd use it especially if you truly weren't botting.

its not a botting client but its a custom client, they could have just been confused. not sure if i should even bother appealing it though as i heard the chances of getting unbanned arent very high. also i did alot of rwt and had been muted 40 something times on that account in the 10 years i had it. wasnt exactly a prime player as far as community ethics go.

Try to contact them on twitter and say them that they should check again, maybe it was a fail in the botwatch system. I saw accounts unbanned after a "false" ban, so you have a chance getting your account back.

 

I remember Jim Sauce, that one streamer, got his stats partially reset for doing "botlike" things, even though he was on the account the whole time. Jagex's systems are, quite frankly, shit. There have been times I'm scared of playing for long periods wondering if I ever will get banned for botting just by playing. Hasn't ever happened, but I wouldn't put any mistake behind Jagex.

Good luck getting the account back, Jagex's customer service is the worst of any multiplayer game I've ever played.

As others have said, try contacting them on twitter. Isn't there a support email that they have too? You could try sending something to that.

 

Email support will probably never get back to you so op your best bet is probably contacting them via twitter or try getting a hold of specific Jmods on twitter.

 

Chances are you won't be unbanned. Jagex claims that they only ban for botting if they're 100% certain because it "isn't in their better interest" otherwise. They're full of shit. I've gotten a 2-day ban for botting when I know for a fact I hadn't been. It was right after Divination came out, and I know a few people who got banned also when they hadn't been. Anyhow, they normally won't even look into it if you appeal. And they won't show you the evidence because they don't want you to know how to avoid being caught the next time. Good luck nonetheless. Best chance: probably appealing via Twitter (or so I've heard).

 

Contact Mod Beano on twitter and ask for the reason. Keep it polite and short.

RSbuddy isn't a botting client so your client was safe. You sure no one got on your account at anytime and may have botted it?

Jagex's bot detecting systems are real good now so they're usually pretty accurate.

 

I've tweeted at a few j mods but i doubt they'll get back to me. I might try the support or parents email however i doubt it will work. also ive heard of people spinning elaborate suicide threat emails and jagex has unbanned them but that is pretty low so i probably wont do that.. just pixels after all but frustrating the amount of time i put into it.

 

No one had my account and i had jad, so unless it was from when i got hacked 4 weeks prior by a sythe member and the ban had just been pending that long?

 

Delay ban is a possibility. That seems logical. Otherwise, they unjustly banned you and I would get into contact.

 

Appealing via Twitter is your best chance, but like others have said, it's extremely unlikely. I had the same thing happen to me last April/May. Account perm banned for "Macroing Major" when I had been playing on a custom client. I appealed and tweeted, but their only response was that they don't issue perm bans unless they're 100% certain.

My ban did end up getting quashed in September when I had a friend back home (original IP) send in the appeal and claim someone had hacked the account. If you're currently away at college or something, like I am, you might have better luck appealing from the original IP location? Best of luck.
