How many times you quit/start RS again?

Ive started and quit runescape a few times over a number of years, how about you guys? .. Just thought its interesting that some of us keep coming back even though we leave in search of a new game or just that we don't have enough time to play anymore. But that day comes when you give it another thought and end up logging back on to see if you could probably get in to it again...

I've never actually quit RuneScape surprisingly. I've only forgotten about it a few times in the past. I've been playing actively since early 2012. I'll probably be here for at least another three years as well.

I've quit so many times and have come back recently strictly to RWT. It is more of a money making method now than anything, i hardly enjoy the game itself.

 

I never quitted runescape completely.

 

I see what you mean. The money aspect of the game seems to be all im really interested in. I bought a bond straight from jagex just to get 7m on the g.e to give me a kick-start in members. Started back after a few years break.

 

I started in like 02-03 with an account that I remember was banned in 04

Then like the end of 04 I made an account and I started playing and I quit like 06 but a month later continued

I played that account until 2009 when it got banned

Then I created an account mid 2009 which is my main right now; I've used it all by hand - never been botted on once

I've got an account which i've botted on and it has a max cape but I don't use that account as I feel it's fake

 

Speaking of banned my main that was created in about 2005 is still banned for 86000 hours lol. Thats about 9 years left... It was originally a perm ban but after that update they did its all converted in to a long *** ticking timer. Hands up whos going to wait that long here, lol.

 

I've quit twice. Once during the trade limit, once during eoc.

Both updates that I found devastating to the game, and ruined my experience completely enough for me to give up thousands of hours of work. I started again once the trade limit was removed, and again when legacy mode was released.

Like 2-3 times, then when I finally stopped playing in 2011 it wasn't even really quitting in the same sense, I just slowly stopped playing and then after a few months of not playing at all I just sold off all of my RSGP too and that was it.

 

I don't "play" anymore and I will never return to play this game as a regular player. All I do is staking in order to make as much money I can. I quit playing 11 months ago and I don't miss it.

 

Only once did I ever log out, turn off my computer, get out of my chair and say "I'm never playing RS again.". Instead, I didn't ever really "quit" per se, but just sort of lost interest and stopped logging in over time.

 

I've quit once and never went back into it. I never really had the urge to tbh.

Ive been playing since like 2005 or 2006, and I have quit maybe 10-15 times and come back in between, still playing atm, tryna max out an 07 acc

 

I quit for a month or so in November of 2011 and a month or so during July 2013. Other than those two times, I've been pretty much been playing nonstop since 2002.

 

hmm i'd say like 3 or 4 times.
Quit at the end of 2006,
Returned early 2010, quit 2012
Restarted on 07 release, quit summer 2013
Returned summer 2014 still playing now

Conclusion, you never REALLY quit rs i guess ;P

 

I've quit multiple times, but honestly, it was never hard for me. I just have ADD when it comes to online games. Runescape was the first game I played, ever, and eventually, after the whole botting thing, it got old, so I quit. Went to WoW, and eventually that got old, so now I'm back and planning to stay.
