Richest RS3 player?

So you always see these bank vids and stuff of" the richest rs player"

So I'm wandering, does anyone actually know who the riches player is? If so, how much is their bank?

I've heard KO from ddyce was the richest player before he was banned. Does anyone know how much he had?

Maybe some screenshots would be nice if you had them.

Also,what's the richest you've ever been on RS?

Personally I had a blue and a white with about max cash back in the dicing days before I sold it and quit.

 

im also curious as tho who the richest is. personally richest ive ever been was 2 yellows + 600m cash stack.

 

No idea. I used to have over 100 billion bank, but I know for sure others have had a lot more. It is rumored that Knite (if I remember correctly... might have been someone else) reached 1 trillion at one point.

Then there's always those random no names in world 1 that have banks larger than you can imagine. They just randomly go up to you, trade you, and show a stack of crackers or something weird. No clue how much those people have.

 

I've never been particularly rich. I've never had more than maybe 300m at once in both items and gp. I'm content with the rag life, it gets me through the game. Perhaps when I max I'll invest in some cool-looking (and expensive) items.

I, however, have no idea who is (or ever was, at one point) the richest player in all of Runescape. It'd be interesting to know, I guess. As long as you've got a Blue partyhat and thensome, you're pretty rich in my eyes, which is all that matters.

There is 100% richer kids just they are anon.

 

There was a player" cheesy18"or something like that, who made YouTube videos of her having 1k Santa's back in the day. I know this was legit. I don't know the price of them at the time but it was pretty impressive. She also included 6 max cash stacks and some phats in her videos. I doubt she was the richest but it definitely had to be close.

 

I doubt KO was the richest. He is probably the one that made the most money during the gambling days but I don't think that he stocked up and sat on tons of gold. He probably sold a lot on a daily/Weekly/Monthly basis. I don't know the guy though so this is pure speculation.

As of right now there a probably a few stakers and merchants that got 100b+. I recall seeing a thread here on Sythe about some guy that apparently got hacked for about 300b but that's a while ago so I guess he is/was one of the richest. I have not heard about anyone having more than that at once.

Most people will sell some of their gp instead of stocking it up, that makes the most sense from a RWT point of view.

I had 60b at one point in 2011.

 

100B really isn't a lot nowadays. Well, it is but it's not. For example h1j (a rare seller here on sythe) claims to have 15+ phat sets. Not sure about current prices but I'm sure that's a buttfuck load. I'm sure there's players who have at least 500b banks. If not more. I'm not 100% sure about this. Its just my opinion and based on other articles I have read.

 

i think 5-10b isnt alot anymore (for rwt'ers / people that use black market forums) but 100b is alot. Anything that coulc be sold for a deposit on a house is a fuckload of money theres no questions.

i tried to make enough money to buy a car staking one day. started with 300m ended with 6b then lost it. some people are just really lucky i guess...

 

I know that 100b is a lot, but you can find videos of 50b stakes and more. There's people that throw around 25b like it's nothing. (I'd like to find one of these people and beg the fuck outta them.) But there's gotta be thousands of players with 100b+

 

The 50b stakes are people that stake a huge % of their bank in one go or they're splitting it with others. I don't think there are thousands of active players with 100b+. Majority of players will sell their gold way before they reach that point. There is a tiny tiny percentage of players with a lot of wealth that simply do not RWT because they are so obsessed with pixels or that they simply are law abiding players and do not want to break the rules. I'm sure that there are inactive accounts with 100s of billions worth of rares that were obtained during the early days of RS.

It's a lost cause either way. The RWTer will not give you free gold, rather make IRL money. The law abiding player is so obsessed with pixels so giving some of it away is the last thing he/she would do.

 

Just read an article that said Fishy was worth ! between 3.1-3.8 trillion when he was banned. Also read another about a player called md3w that abused the crucible bug and wasn't banned immediately that had over 200b when he was banned. No idea how true any of this is as I am just going off of others articles.

 

I doubt that Fishy was worth over 3 trillion. He sure made bank from running his FC but I really think that his 250b bank video is fake seeing and a lot of the rares/shards most likely belonged to his ranks. Making that bank vid was clever of course because fanboys are easily impressed by RS wealth.

From what I've heard, Md3w was one of those players with an emotional attachment to runescape pixels, the obsession and pixel-pride prevented him from selling gp until the very end where he did in fact have 200b but ended up getting banned before selling it all . I recall seeing one of his videos and he was really open about the fact that he "only" managed to walk away with about 14k in the end.

I have no idea about the players that abused the max pile dupe glitch though. They probably made ALOT during a very short amount of time.

 

exactly that max cash stak dupe staking glitch was around for 5-6 days before it was leaked and patched..

 

99% of the richest banks are people who come together to make IRL bank off runescape and most of the time,combine or split any gambling/bank vids they do.


However, after a game has been out 13 years you can bet your ass that people easily have 500b+.

There's even people that have died from not moving from a computer chair(U can google this and it's 100% true).

The truth is, there truly isnt a "richest" player because you can have 5-6 people's banks all merged lol(example: fishy calling 50b-200b bets and splitting with his hosts mabey 25-50b a piece on live video).

 

I've heard that fishy, when making bank videos, borrowed the rates, shards, etc. From his rank to cover up the fact that he was indeed very into the RWT scene. Also, you can look up cheesy018 on Google and one of the sites gives a list of items that she had (all at once) I'm not sure of the prices at that time but it had to total hundreds upon hundreds of bills. 1K Santa's alone is a lot.

 

And bus, when you refer to people dying from not moving I be live your thinking of" the old knight" or something like that. Which did indeed die from heart problems due to his addition to rs. There's actually a monument in RS dedicated to this player.

He had one huge 90b total pot where he and Starrychelx were in for 10b each and the remaining 25b was split in between the other ranks. That's the biggest one as far as I know.
